Spider followed her mother and sister closely, Night, the pesky tom poked his head out of his nest. She send him an annoyed glare. As if it wasn't obvious none of them wanted to talk; Star wanted to collapse.

In the dim lighting of the den, Spider joined her sister without another word and curled up with a sigh.

Dawn awoke in her nest next to her snoozing kits. She carefully slipped out the nursery making sure not to wake anyone inside. She looked out into the peaceful camp. The sun was letting through tiny patches of the light just big enough for cats to lay in. She went across the camp to a big rick and laid in thee nice warm puddle of gold and soaked the warmth into her fur.

Star opened her eyes to the sound of the nursery entrance vines swinging and a tail going through them. She noticed that her mother was gone and decided she was going to go and smack night awake, whos mother was gone as well. She got into a low crouch like her father showed a few days ago, and crept up right to the side of his nest. Then she pounced. He woke with a large jolt and a loud screech and jumped up onto his feet in an instant. Realizing it was star he let his hair lay flat. Though he was still furious.

"WHY IN THE NAME OF YHE ANCESTORS DID YOU DO THAT!?!" he said still glaring at her, but Star took no notice, she was rolling on the ground in a fit of laughter.

Spider, unaware of her sisters mischievous plan still silently napped. Until, of course, the loud yowl from Night and her sister's giggles. The tortie kit tilted her head and screwed open her eyes to the scene before her and huffed.

"What are you doing Star?" she sighed.

Air, who was lounging nearby chuckled as Dawn came out of the nursery.

"Are the kits still asleep?"

Star still full of laughter from nights face, turned to her sister with an amused smile. "He was scared out of his whiskers!" she said finally getting up and breathing again.

"I was not scared! I was trying not to scratch off your whiskers!" He said making his hair lie back down. "Mouse brain." he said under his breath, but it wasn't quiet enough.

Star had heard him, and before he could put his paw down, she had barreled into him and pushed him onto the ground. "You were saying?" she said curtly.

"Yep, they slept pretty hard after there little adventure on the great tree." Dawn said while gently licking her paw.

Spider eyed the two disinterestedly, not at all impressed with Nights attempts at bravado, or Stars energy. The tortie kit yawned as the two tumbled together.

"If this is was the tribe has to look forward to, then we are all doomed."

"A feat not many would dare try, much less ones so young." Air nodded, but a glint in his old eyes seemed to had a fond memory within them.

"Though I do remember a curtain tom attempting it to catch your attention when we were all younger."

Shadows Falling Over Snow coughed awkwardly as memories of a much younger, foolhardy him entered his mind. Before the responsibility of his rank as Disciple had been giving to him when the last had died in an unfortunate attack by a large, spotted cat that was not like them.

"We are here to talk of our daughters...not...not my horrible courtship habits." he muttered.

Air flicked his tail, eyes shinning with amusement, but nodded none the less.

"Yes, they are of age now, it is time they are chosen to become either a Gaudian or Scout. I am contemplating their mentors now, but I wanted to know if either of you had any suggestions."
